Given the current situation, and in order to hold an event as successful as possible
The Retail & Brand Experience World Congress has been postponed until November
Fira de Barcelona has decided to wait until November to hold the second Retail & Brand Experience World Congress, the event specialising in the transformation of commerce and the new roles of brands, originally scheduled to take place from 12th to 14th May at the Gran Via venue. It will now take place from 17th to 19th November, dates that coincide with the Smart City Expo World Congress and Smart Mobility, flagship events in terms of mobility, smart cities and urban solutions.
The decision has been made in view of the current situation generated by COVID-19 with the aim of holding it in an environment that is expected to be more propitious. In this regard, Alba Batiste, the director of the Retail & Brand Experience World Congress, is convinced that: “we’ve chosen the dates that we believe to be the most favourable, and holding the event alongside such a well-established world leader as the Smart City Expo World Congress will help us to guarantee its success”. Batiste also wished to thank the sector for its “cooperation, support and trust”.
Thus, the Retail & Brand Experience World Congress, organised by Fira de Barcelona, is expected to be held for the second time with the participation of 150 speakers and a hundred companies, which will address challenges such as the emergence of the new generations, sustainability, the birth of new business models and brands, digital transformation and flexibility in the supply chain.
