A guided tour of trailblazing stores

Daniel Córdoba, one of Spain’s leading retail innovation experts, introduced visitors to the city and its retail landscape with an initial 30-minute session in the Retail Safari space. After that it was on to the bus for a guided tour of selected retailers, where participants were introduced to retail and experiential marketing representatives, allowing them to see, ask, enquire, compare and experience the latest trends in action.

    More than a restaurant, Ametller Origen CoMMons is a multidynamic space with the goal of establishing a community of people with shared values geared towards adopting healthy habits.

    The restaurant offers many activities and includes a coworking room for encouraging discussions, thinktanks and workshops. The cuisine at CoMMons promotes local and seasonal products, with a Healthy Bar based around the recipes of nutrition specialist Marta Vergés.

    The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) opened its center in the city of Barcelona in 2002 and is currently a reference point within design education, gaining both national and international recognition.

    SVD began as a project between five friends, now business partners, selling sneakers online. From there they opened a small store in Marina (now closed), another in Madrid, followed by their large concept store in Barcelona in 2016.

    With a surface area of over 500m2, the store features two spaces: lifestyle products from leading brands and insider trends, with iPads to make in-store purchases.

The Manzaning application has been designed to promote commerce in local retailers, allowing customers to communicate with the various stores listed on the app as well as buy directly from them.

    Kave Home was born online five years ago and, thanks to its wide catalogue, has now become a benchmark within the sector. The opening of this new channel will allow the brand to get closer to their customers and be discovered by internet skeptics or those who might still have difficulty buying furniture online.

    Their design is based on a natural, Mediterranean style, with floor tiles and brick walls that play with shapes and spaces to form pleasant trellises. This is an opportunity to discover how their pieces look in fourteen environments, which you can enjoy while having a coffee.

    A visit to La Roca Village, one of the 11 shopping destinations of the Bicester Village Shopping Collection in Europe and China, will be departing from the event’s venue. Attendees will have a chance to learn about La Roca Village’s innovative business model and enjoy a walkthrough to discover the Village’s brands, its architecture and landscaping, and its curated experiences.
